get a job , a mortgage and some pets, then we'll see how you feel about making some real life decisions on a regular basis.
I would say it's the equivalent to deciding what type of cereal you want for breakfast, either way it's just gunna be shit in the end.
i guess some would rather bust ass physically, than spend a little time mentally to get to the higher positions.
I have a BSEE. But thanks for assuming i push a broom like your daddy.
The idea of my post, was that Deciding what frat you join, or if you don't, isn't a fucking life changing choice. There's a lot more to life than the 4 years after high school...
LOL like my dad? You mean the man that has run 2 social security offices for how many years? right. anyways.

Running them is different than waiting in line at them son.
Perhaps you should consider going back to English 101, before you get your high fluting white collar job?
I got my BSEE in 05, and will receive my MBA in December. I honestly dont see how I would have had the time for a fraternity.
People who tell you there is a "college experience" are correct. Its setting semester goals and achieving them, thereby learning to rely on your own judgement.
My school says that only 33% of students who start a degree will finish it. I'm told thats high, compared to other schools. If I could give you advice: balance your fun with your studying, because if you study too much your breaks feel too good and you dont go back. If you have too much fun, well, you wont have to worry about going back. I have seen both happen.
And here's the thing about it that relates to fraternities: If you drop out for either reason, and everyone else in the fraternity passes, you wont be missed, no matter what a legendary studyer or partier you were.

The movie Animal House portrayed it much differently, are you sure?!
Are you going to get a P.E. Russ?

I agree with this right here. All a degree says is that you learned how to kiss ass for 4 years. Your going to have to be re-trained when you enter the field any ways. I got a degree and been working the same job since I got out of high school. And now all my buddies are graduating and make shit pay but all they have is a piece of paper and a shitty intern job.
yea i dont kno where my degrees is gonna take me being an art major concentrating in graphic design.

I worked full time the entire time i was in college. I didn't need the degree, but some companies like it.
It opens more doors if you wanna work for some of the names, but mostly the reason i finished, is because the place i was working at, paid for it. 60k saved is a dollar earned!
If a job is willing to pay for it then def go for it. But some degrees people go for is a complete waste. But I am not saying college is a waste unless you make it one. And I think paying for friends is one way to waste it.
man.. you know what I say screw frats.. cause minitruckin is all you need and is kinda like a BIG frat right there
