Double+ your gas mileage?????

Free Energy claims: We must add the note it is unlikely Brown's Gas will be used as a so-called free energy source. The current manner BG is being generated uses quite a bit of electricity. Currently the cost of electricity exceeds the value of the generated H as fuel. BG however can be exploded (as opposed to its natural tendency to IMPLODE) by mixing air with it. I myself have operated a VW with BG in this manner but only to prove it could be done.

Okay I'm going to renig a bit on saying it couldn't work but going to stick by that it doesn't.

Okay guys here is how the concept works. You got a container that holds water, it can be anything. Inside are some form of conductors to conduct electricity(duh). These are usually stainless to combat the incredibly corrosive properties of the process. But even they still corrode away over time. You run dc power to them + to one conductor - to the other. The breaks the water into what is called brown gas(so named after Yule Brown who discovered it in the 1940's from borrowed ideas from the 30's, so it's been around a while). Now that your making the gas you can do what you want with it. We were filling a juice bottle and using a model rocket igniter to blow it up. In the auto idea you run a hose to your intake.

The more conductors you have the more gas you will make. But the more amperage you will draw. There are complicated systems that reduce the amperage that use pulses and amplitude modulation but those aren't being used in any of these devices they are only being played with by scientists.

Now that I have typed a really long reply that most of you know already here are my questions no one answers when talking about using it to increase mileage.

This morning I used my van battery to run my sons science experiment(we had been using a little battery charger). His does not make near enough gas to help mileage at all, but it pulled the motor down like you were trying to jump start another vehicle. Now if you were to make enough of the gas to actually help I think the excessive alternator draw would negate the effect. Not to mention wear your alternator out on a regular basis.

After the brown gas burns it turns back into water as steam. That is where the effect of cleaning the carbon our of you motor comes from, you are basically steam cleaning the inside of your motor. How long does it take to completely rust out your exhaust?

The other problem is as you make gas you use the water in your little tank. As your electrodes become uncovered they stop producing the gas, so it makes less and less gas as it becomes emptier.

Also the electrodes do erode away eventually, how long do they last before you have to replace the system?

And don't worry I realize that none of you read all that.

i read all of it and i think its funny it seems like to me it would take more to make it than its worth and the negative effects it has on the engine outwieigh the benefits it should give you if this thing really worked to the extent like it has been advertised every time you turn on the tv billy mays would be trying to sell you one for the low cost of only 4 credit card payments of 29.95 and everyone you know would own one and probably have a spare

And like I said this has been around for almost 80 years. And there have been worse gas problems then now.

Good information, It does pull some amperage, the information I found stated about 2 amps, that however is not true, a 5 amp fuse blows relatively quickly, I started with a 20 amp auto resetting circuit breaker. It is set up on a switch, the only problems I had at first was before I added come check valves it was sctually sucking in some water which made the engine run like crap for about 3 minutes, but then after adding the check valves that problem stopped.

You do have to add water every few tanks of gas, but its worth it to me.

On a differnt level, I am in the process of buying a 26 foot enclosed 5th wheel to get this business off the ground.

I have typed up a business propsal and a cover sheet for a loan through the bank.

I have a meeting with a local group called SCORE who help small business start out.

Don't know much else right now, thanks for the support and criticism.

All great inventions throughout time had haters that said it was crazy, wasn't possible, or was just a waste of time, this is no different. So as long as I keep at it, it will get even better.

Great invention? What about the people who have patents on the same thing? This technology is over 80 years old! People have run entire cars on it. They make cutting torches that only use water. If there was any validity to this technology it would already be out there.

Dude that is so petty.

So now a person of opposition is a "hater"? Wow.

Well I think your a doo-doo head.

I guess I'll keep on chuggin the haterade, but I wish you the best. I still stand by my comment that I truly do hope you prove me wrong.

Good luck! I mean that.

I did a little more reading at the site that sells the book(which I'm guessing is where he is getting all his info). And it states if you buy his $100 book you are free to sell the product to any one you want. That is probably why he had such a hard time finding a free trademark.

Just for the record I'm messing around with it(just wasting time but hey) for my kids science project. If it works I will post all my plans on here.
