Double+ your gas mileage?????

So...whats the details? How do you build one? Shoot, I got nothing to lose; I'll try it.

So I got a phone call from a guy asking me if I could install a couple $1000.00 systems and travel to dayton to do it. I was quite skeptical, I told him possibly, let me see the website.

So this is the professional version, they even have a system that costs $11,000, wow. He called the stuff I am dealing with the McGyver version, which it is. I called him back and we started talking seriously, I told him I would install them for free if he sent me all the literature they are selling on the site in print. Then we started talking distribution and all kinds of good stuff.

Life is good and getting better.

So this cat is getting $520 for 12 inches of ABS pipe, a few fittings, an ammeter straight out of the JC Whitney catalog and some strips of wire? $520 bucks for $23 dollars worth of material? And people are paying this? I'm all for people making money, but this guy is worse that the "petroleum czars" he criticizes on his site. IMO, he's selling people bottled wind.

Secondly, why would this guy, who's obviously got a stranglehold on this "technology", ask you, a relative novice, to install MacGyver'd systems for him?

Somethings fishy and and I don't think any of us are buyin' it.

Call me a sucker I know the results of what it did on my car and I've sold about 6 of them so far. Sorry I don't have a gas card, I do care about gas mileage, and I'm making a couple dollars off it now.

i wanna see some numbers on one of our big blocks. hell if if gets me a few miles a gal id take one.

Well, I know the tired old small block(6.5td long gone) in mine got me 8 with a 6x12 uhaul behind empty and loaded up. I'm going up to Wisconsin in a couple weeks, with a car hauler so I will add the 6 pack and see what happens. They say it works best on old carb'd stuff that has no ECU adapting fuel trims to what the O2 sensor reads.

First off...I wasn't calling you a sucker. That was in reference to the guys who would drop $600+ on something like this without any hardcore, concrete evidence. I just find it hard to believe the extraordinary claims that are being made. If this really was legit, there would be a lot of people all over it, and the word would spread like wildfire.

I don't necessarily subscribe to the conspiracy theory that the Oil Conglomerate controls all media and other forms of communication. Sure, they have a lot of power, but at the end of the day oil companies can't suppress word of mouth.

My offer still stands. Like I said, I have nothing to gain. I don't buy my own fuel, so what do I care. If you can prove me wrong, I'll gladly eat my words and forever sing the praises of homemade hydrogen generators. In all honesty, I'd love to be proven wrong. I think it would be super sweet to be able to "stick it to the man" by using simple, household materials. I just don't see it happening.

Please understand, I'm not trying to be a dick, just a skeptic. I apologize if I hurt your feelings.

Campy, thanks for the post, I understand, it has always been hard for me to give stuff away for free. With th price of the Registered Trademark I have applied for and all the supplies I have had to buy, along with taking about an hour+ to build each one, I just can't swing it, my offer stands to you as it does anyone on these boards.

I'm charging 150 for regular customers, but 75 shipped to everyone on here.
10-15 goes toward shipping.
60-65 goes toward my hour of work, time to the post office, and many supplies that I have had to buy.

I didn't have intentions of coming to these boards and trying to hustle people. With the price of gas, this thing is only costing the equivilent of 20 gallons of gas.

I won't gaurantee better gas mileage, but I am sure you will notice your engine running smoother, hopefully better gas mileage, and probably a little more power.

I have installed 4 so far, and each one has brought a smoother running engine better mileage, and 3/4 a little more power(haven't heard back from the last guy yet on mileage)

A few of us on here alone have said if it can help the mileage on a big block we would buy one. IMO taking a $75 hit to make $300+ would be worth it. If one of these things will work on a dually imagine how fast the word would spread. If theres one thing ive learned in the past year its that it takes money to earn money.
