Yep, better to spray some primer on them spots. Do you still have primer left over from the truck? What kind did you shoot the truck with?
You can use rattle can primer if they are only small spots and you don't want to bother mixing a batch for your gun. Just don't use no chepo bs primer, get some good spray can primer from an automotive paint store. If you can, get the same kind you shot your truck with. It may cost slightly more, but if you use the wrong cheap stuff on occasion the reducer in the paint can re-activate the primer and cause it to "wrinkle".
When you are done prepping the truck (after primer) kinda give the truck a light coat of your base color before giving it a real good covering. If you don't see any issues after the light coat give er hell with a nice coat of base.
Oh and you can leave your ride in primer for as long as you want. But when you shoot the base color, you usually only have a 48 hr window before you should clear it. Although I have pushed that window a bit in the past...I wouldn't recommend it.

yea what those guys said. thats cool that finally someone asks a paint question and you actually get a answer you can use. not like on ssm where all you get is (you dumbass you cant do it like that )
when are you planning on sealing it?? and when are you planning on actually starting the base?? be careful because most sealers also have a window that will close and you will have to sand the sealer before you can base. just check with the brand your using because they are all different.

When I was working painting those motorhomes. One they did before I started they waited to long after spraying the sealer and it came back and we literally pulled the paint off in sheets. Some were probably 10 ft by 5 ft. So watch your sealer.
