i just got out. My degree is in Machinist/Machine Tool Technology/Tool & Die. I really enjoyed it in school being able to make what I want when I want. The hard part is finding a job actually doing what you went to school for. I've tried 2 jobs so far, they acted like I was fresh out of high school and gave me a broom and dust pan so needless to say i'm not there anymore. But once I do find that right job where I can do the things I did in college i think its going to be fun.

don't get so edgy man. Jey makes a good point. It's a great start on a website but to tell someone that "this" is what you could have without going to college is not very appealing.

Ah, i had just figured you had hired an 8 year old to make "Wicked cool neon letters in graiffiti style font with billions of whurly turley flash shit spread about".
This is web 2.0, CSS, Ajax, div tables.
Flash makes me vomit.
There's a nice demand for people with CATIA knowledge, especially in the NW....

i agree with your comment...im not trying to be a dick bro... really im not like that... but i had to say something cause that guy didnt build that...he has never done anything for my business except move a tv into my lounge area... and really i did that flash to show a customer of mine and never took it down... its just in case someone hits on it they can see some shit and call me....but as for jeys comment about hiring a 8 year old to make neon letters and making him vomit... thats not cool bro

i do architectural drafting for an architect in ky right now. prior to this i was working for another architect in CA. its fun cause you get to see these buildings you put hours into drawing up get built but sitting at a desk all day drawing, starts to get tedious. and 'draftsman' dont make a shit load of money. architects, engineers do, but before you decide you want to be one of those remember in ca. you have to work under one for 7 years and have a bachelors degree before you can even start taking your tests to become a licensed engineer or architect. in cali the pay rate for a 'good' draftsman is like $15-$20 depending on the architect and the area. ky its like $8-$10. also, if you want to get into drafting, learn the Auto-cad software. at least the 2005 version. all versions operate basically the same way but in 2005 some things work a little differently but if you never used like 2002 you wouldnt notice. sketch up is another program that deals with 3-d modeling which is pretty cool. dont even bother learning data-cad, its slow and outdated. autocad is the way to go. oh and my personal preffereance is that the 'architectural desktop' program sucks at every aspect. so i stick with just plain ol autocad.
You used to work for Steeno, didn't you?
well thats just cause jays a dumbfuck and always makes comments onnie..dont listen to em...

I've been stalking you for about 6 years now. Ha!
I dunno, I think I may have seen the truck out front once or twice. Your truck and that orange Bug.
I used to work for my old man and we would pick up prints from Tom quite often way back when he was on Sultana all the way up until he moved to Main.
Now he's got that big place on Hesperia Rd.
Huh. Small word.
yeah that was me. i started working for tom when he had the place on main street. then for about another year at the new place on hesperia road. but then i moved. that bug was austin. he's workin there again to. i plan on moving back there in about 6 months so you'll prolly see the truck out front again. lol. who was your dad? contractor or soemthing or did he get something designed?
Steve. Contractor. S.C. Construction. I'm sure we've seen each other. I did a buch of Bobcat work at Tom's place right after he moved to Main.
Yeah, I saw that Bug in front at Tom's new digs about two weeks ago. I think he lives right around the corner from me. I see him parked in front of some apartments nearby, quite often.
