I know you are probably not going to use a heim joint for an upper ball joint, but it is another idea.

As for using heims on the dog bones in "single shear" like TwistedMinis is talking about, BE CAREFUL. Single shear mounts are prone to failure. If you don't use a high grade bolt and address it properly, you can really screw stuff up. If you don't know what "single shear" is, look it up. You need to know.

max, i tried to look up single sheer but it brought up some weird stuff... before i just ask you to explain it to me can you tell me more of what i should be looking for? like "single sheer suspension"? "single sheer mounting"?

thanks

josh, what parts do you have? i want to make my arms look like these mustang ii arms as far as bushings for mounting and all... but i want it to mount like the stock toyota ones because thats what i have.. so it needs a different cross shaft plus my stock arms are lengthened an inch so i cant just buy a set.

Where can you get these balljoint reamers from?

should be able to get them at an industrial tool shop. Look for places in the phone book like "Smiths industrial tool supply" names like that. If that dont work check the internet they are about same price just have to pay shipping.

I have all the parts availble for you to do it yourself.I have 2 diff size cross shafts and and bushings and sleeves that slid on the shaft to weld the tubing to for your arms.I also have the screw in style rings for screw in ball joints so you can make them like mustang II arms.
Or if you give me the length i can build you a set and send them to you.

just let me no.Its almost just as cheap to buy the arms as it is the parts.

I THINK SPEEDWAYMOTORS.COM SELLS THE REAMERS.
