yea i understood the reasoning for not using ghe bushing ends.. but i just see so many people do it and wonder why i guess. i figured they had to be working for so many people to have been using the idea. im getting more into the heim join idea... just not sure how to go about it yet. i saw speedway offers bungs and stuff...the mustang ii conrol arms are how i want mine to look except i want them to mount like the stock yota ones do.. behind that mounting point. what do i need to do to make that happen.. what kind of bushing ends and stuff do i need to get if i were to go that rounte and do you know where i can get em. i know im asking a lot of questions and i really appreciate your help... ill owe you lunch when our paths cross.. maybe by then youll be old enough and ill buy you a beer if you so desire.

my email address is pbarone_iv@hotmail.com thanks

And I didn't mount them with tabs, but you could. I mached a threaded cross shaft to fit perfectly between the heims, and that is mounted solid to the frame. And I put misalignment spacers on the outside of them so that their travel will not be limited in any direction.

The only drawback I see in the heims, is that you will feel the road a little bit more. But I accept that.

And I got my heims and threaded tube adapters from www.ballisticfabrication.com.

If you want the best of both worlds you can get multi angle adjusters as I mentioned above and should have recommended to you in the first place when I first mentioned the speedway control arms. Oh and the ball joints he is talking about are awesome. I use them exclusively. just add another 100 bucks for upper and lower balljoints and sleeves.www.kugelkomponents.com

I wanted to use those, but a bit pricey at $50 a pop.

I agree. I have'nt used them yet for that reason. Let me know if you find a more affordable version of these. Shit, I should just make my own at that price.
