I am really sick of people bitching about whats wrong with our scene. Anytime you get hundreds of people together there are gonna be pricks, assholes, shit talkers, trouble makes, ect.... Probably 95% of people I know in this scene are really great people. Its only that other 5% that cause the problems.

This "scene" is what YOU MAKE IT! If you have a good group of friends and really enjoy what you're doing then you don't have to worry about all the haters and assholes out there Don't let things get to you man!

well put bro!

That should pretty much sum it up, Almost everybody agrees with the first post and the ones that dont are ither tired of hearing it or just dont care about the whole mini trucker thing. IMO I think alot of people that do the bashing are people who come to the shows mostly to get drunk and party. Also the ones that have mommy and daddys money who can aford to drop large amounts of money into a ride and they just dont respect what it took to come up with a job at McDonalds etc. No matter what You will not beable to runn them off, The scene will get larger in return attract people like that. All you can do is not worry about the people like that because they wont be around long, and people like us will be here for good. ITs just a phase like everything else.

I WOULD HAVE TO SAY THE PROBLEM IS EVOLUTION. THE SCENE IS POPULAR SOMEWHAT AND HAS GROWN A CROWD. A CROWD SO BIG THAT THERE ARE FOLLOWERS AMONG "FABRICATORS". ITS LIKE WITH ANY HOBBIE OR PASSION, U HAVE YOUR ELITE AND YOUR GUYS THAT MIGHT BE BETTER PLACED SOMEWHERE ELSE. IT IS A VERY COMMON THING TAKE IT AS A COMPLEMENT IF PEEPS ARE TRYING. EVEN IF THEY CANT BUILD A TIGHT RIDE, THEY STILL REP. THE MINITRUCK LIFESTYLE. BESIDE WE ALL STARTED AT THE BOTTOM........................................

I still like the mazdas rolling the pathfinder wheels. The people that have been in the seen need to lead by example. .... Just don't forget where you came from. The Grant Kustoms Family!

AMEN to that!! Remember in the 90s, rides were FEATURED in MT rolling on Pathfinders, Probe GTs, Lexus 16s... stuff the average guy could actually AFFORD! Now, with so many extreme rides being featured with megabuck wheels and engines, it's really discouraging to the average guy just trying to have fun with his daily!I think the extreme-built rides are awesome, but the owners of these trucks need to respect all aspects of the scene and not hate on somebody just getting started or lightly modifying their daily driver...

i agree with you!!! i see kids come into the shop who work their asses off to build something who respect the other clubs and other minitruckers, but get hated on...

The problem with mini truckers is the scene. I mean what the fuck it the mini trucker life style???????????? Since when do i have to be a certain way to be a minitrucker. Since when do i have ot wear dickies, and wear black to be a mini trucker???? I have never gotten this whole "scene" thing ever. I build trucks because i have always had a passion to. Since i was in the 4th grade drawing pictures of laid out trucks, this is what i wanted to do. Even while my dad was building kick ass classic customs, i still wanted a badass laid out truck. Not because i thought it would make people think I was cool, not because i thought chicks dig it, not because i thought i would fit in to a scene or life style, but because thats what i wanted to do. I have never gotten this "life style" or "scene" and i guess i never will.

Personally, I don't think Dickies are that comfortable. I like Carharts, they're easy to work in.
