Everyone has to remember where we all came from. I know I started off with a static dropped truck. The rides are getting so extreme that the little guys that build this sport are getting left behind. I still like the mazdas rolling the pathfinder wheels. The people that have been in the seen need to lead by example. Jeff is a great example of what a minitrucker is in my book. If you see some acting up you need to do something instead of coming on here and talking shit about it. If enough people do something in our scene IT WILL make a difference. I know alot of good people in this scene it will not die by any mean, but it will slow until people act. Just don't forget where you came from.

AMEN to that!! Remember in the 90s, rides were FEATURED in MT rolling on Pathfinders, Probe GTs, Lexus 16s... stuff the average guy could actually AFFORD! Now, with so many extreme rides being featured with megabuck wheels and engines, it's really discouraging to the average guy just trying to have fun with his daily!I think the extreme-built rides are awesome, but the owners of these trucks need to respect all aspects of the scene and not hate on somebody just getting started or lightly modifying their daily driver...

im dont feel like repeating shit that everyone else has already said so yeah. i agree with alot of what people are saying.
the statement about the videos adding to it, me and my friends just have fun, we dont destroy hotel rooms and we dont break windows or anything like that. theres a point of obnoxiousness and rowdyness that can take place but theres a line to be drawn and more often than not it gets crossed almost every weekend at a show. im lucky enough to travel all over to shows all over the country theres different atmospheres in different places with different people. but you do see some of the same shit every where you go. less in some places and more in others.

not to hi-jack this thread, but is there anything new you guys think the magazine could do to help? we're working on more everyday driver type features, club profiles, cruise nights, and lots of old school trucks I also agree that the low budget junkyard builds is a staple of minitruckin' and without them none of our crazy cover trucks would have ever seen the light of day

The problem with this "scene" is that there is too much talk about the "scene" and not enough talk about building/designing etc. How many f-ing threads will be started about the quandaries of this "scene

^^^ No offense but you don't have a scoop, a truck listed, or anything? Many people that say they have no clue about "the scene" also have this same problem...

MAYBE, just MAYBE hes not a big computer guy and doesnt really care that his "scoop" is filled out, or that hes got rides on there.
Mike, your one MAJOR person in all of this, and there you go judging a book by its cover.
