i dif agree .. build your ride for yourself , not others.....gets old hear'n people make'n fun of others at shows cause they got a painted ride and bodyroped and stuff, but only have 17's for rims and not 22's ...... .. even look'n in Minitruck'n or other mags , ive seen and heard people nickpick'n rides say'n "that truck is crap it only has 18's " or "his truck is better cause he has 22's and its the baddest truck around cause of that" whatever!! we need to put more appreciation into what work the owner put into his. if he built it himself or worked hard to earn the money for someone else to build it, it dont matter ... not everyone haves the same skills as others to do things.... nor money ....

i agree with a lot of things that have already been said. ive seen quite a few negative things this year, but im not going to let that overshadow the positive. its all on how you look at things, if you focus on the negativity then itll be negative but if you stay positive then the experience will be positive. the ratio to true good hearted mini truckers for sure out weighs the assholes out there. and if people dont like my truck so be it because i didnt build it for them.

^^true,however there has been a drastic incline in the amount of assholes coming to these shows over the past couple years.when i go to a show i go to catch up with friends i haven't seen since the last show,check out the rides & generally relax for the weekend,unfortunately alot of people go to a show with the sole intention of getting completely shitfaced & acting like a moron all weekend

The way I see it Minitruckin isn't for everyone. Idiots are everywhere, and I have seen some since 1989.
So if this isn't for you and you feel that you have to sell you ride because someone pissed you off, go right ahead. I am assuming that whatever your next habit or venture is someone will piss you off there and guess what you will do.

Im sitting here talking to Mike at the office discussing this very issue. And ive been going to shows since 95 and to me its no different than it was back then. I remember going to endless summer or summer splash and fearing for my life. there would be so many fights, big headed clubs and assholes. but you know what, i dont regret those days, i only think about the positive. the influences i learned from and the friends that i made.
