THE PROBLEM WITH OUR SCENE!!!!!!!

well said, im tired of being harassed just cause someone dosent like what i have, i got into the scene in 91, it was all about respect then now its about hate, i do what i do cause i like it, it teaches my son a good hobby to keep him out of trouble when he gets older, i have a civic so i get bashed all the time, i like cars and trucks i dont hate nobody for tryin but dont come at me with the hate. like i totally agree the dicks need to find a new hobby

One thing about me is i am a mello guy, I see a truck and if I dont like it I keep it to myself Obviously someone has spent alot of money on there ride and made it the way they like it, your opinion doesnt matter.

That is one thing I have learned from Ernie, I have made some comments about trucks or cars not on a forum but among friends and for as long as I have known him he as always said "Dont hate that is theres and that is how they want it"

I have a good friend that has had a minitruckin feature with one truck, which in my opinion is legendary because it is one of the first to lay frame at Heatwave, and had another truck on the cover of Truckin after driving 24 hrs. He hates the hotrod scene because he took his fully detailed truck to a show and all he heard was What a waste of a dually. And I know a guy that has had a couple features in hotrod mags and hates what we do.

He gives me shit all the time for my stockfloored Expo. Thats fine i dont make a big deal about it cuz I dont care. He is stilla good friend of mine and I respect what he does.

bill your expi is sick bro, i like what you got going on with it. i know this thread has been kicked around, but again the number of true hearted mini truckers totally outweigh the numbers of assholes out there. make your vehicle for yourself, not for the next minitrucker, not for anybody but yourself. Lastly, we will never be able to get rid of all the ignorance that is in the scene, but it is what you simply make it. again i had some negative things happen this past summer, it really didnt make me too happy to hear and see some things, however im not going to let that become my thoughts of what the summer 2006 was like because there were to many great moments. but if you hear someone ragging on someone elses ride, keep them in mind that to each their own.

ya if i see soemthing that doesnt look safe or qonder why they did it that way ill keep it to me and my friends. cause im going threw it now it take a bunch of money to get a truck ready and rolling and peopl ework so hard to get this stuff doen work wise so you can pay soemone or pay for parts and you do th ework either way there is alot of work to do to get where people are today. and i will respect people for that. not alot of people work hard these days so i respect that seeing people try. and the thing with your friend i would of gone to get him too im just a good friend liek that especialls if he didnt have a rider cause of his friend leaveing for family reasons

ok every one has made the same two points your all right the dumb shit at shows is getting rediculous but from the shows ive been to the people that are doing all this dumb shit arent even involved wit minitruckin besides the fact that they know a guy with a truck. every time i go to a show i see the same types of people doing the same types of things getting wasted and talkin shit but these are also the people that at the end of the day run out to the spectator parkinglot and hop in thier moms minivan. but just so every one knows im guilty of the same shit hell most of us have done it at one point. ill say ive set off fire works in hotel parkinglots at 3 am while i was drunk and ive talked shit on people before but that was way before i started realizing what those type of actions project on to the public. well nuff said i think i just said what every one else has before. oh yeah more every day features in MT
