whats wrong with the s10 balljoint? i dont know of a balljoint that has more travel?

There is a Caprice balljoint if I remember right that has more travel, but fits the S10. It is the same one that a now defunct a arm builder was marketing as "extended travel". Still not a screw in, though.

These balljoints require the 1.5" per foot taper.
I picked mine up at work today. They were like $14 with tax. Cheaper than I can get them from Speedway for. I'll soon find out if I get enough travel out of them. I'm just waiting on more DOM...

Well my question is...if you get the uniballs and are building arms, can they be mig welded, or do they HAVE to be tigged? I know everyone tigs them for 'strength', but I haven't been able to afford a tig rig yet.

i tig for looks mostly, the mig will work fine.
