Thanks Kyle. Basically what I'm looking for is a cleaner upper balljoint, that will allow me to get about 10 inches of lift. Will the Moog K772 work for this? Or should I just go for the Howe balljoint? They say that the 22320 is the same as the Moog K772 so that should work. Do the Howe balljoints break down? On there site it looks like they do, and you can buy replacement ball studs.

Yes they do break down. The cap comes off the top. I would assume the Howe joint would work for you, but it's tough to make that assumption based on 10" of lift. but If you really want to make sure, I would put in an Off Road type monoball. That is the same as on Mike Alexander's frontend on his Toy.

Yea, Uniballs are pretty expensive, and I dont want to spend that much really. If I have to, okay, but I'd like to get around it. I just need something effective with a lot of travel really. The minimum cycle I need is 9.5" in order to actually steer my truck at all.

from what the sadistic iron guy was saying a uniball doesnt get much more travel than a stock toyota upper. an s10 upper will fit into the toyota spindle, but needs some washers to tighten the castle nut down, and it has more travel than a toyota joint.

Thanks Cris. I'm just trying to make it loook cleaner you know. Rather than having a balljoint plate. I just want to know if I'll be able to get enough travel out of the screw in type.

Anyone know how much travel I can get out of them? Or should I just go for it and find out? I'm going to check prices at work today.
