Problems with rag top...

hey i called them fuck nuts too from street beat and they told me 6-8 weeks thats crap but anyway i got ont from a guy i know and when i first put it in i was mad because it would only open halfway too but i figured out how to open it all the way ..you got to push up on the racks that hold the material up and it slides together and will open all the way as for my lock it works really good just I.M me if you dont understand...just thought i would help

damn,good thing i read this before i bought mine,i was thinkin of orderin mine from streetbeat cuz they look badass open.

Britax is the name, but i looked, and i didn't find a website so maybe some one else can have better luck than i did Britax is no longer in business. There is another company making them but I don't think they come in custom sizes or do they make them very large. I believe the name was mentioned earlier in the thread.

OK CRY BABIES HERES THE LAW OF THE LAND. Yes they were taking a long time. Yes there is room for improvement on them. No you can build one for $40. There are no other companies who make custom size rag tops. We do offer inalfa electric and manual tops. and no you didnt pay 425 for a 35x20 for a single cab mini. I would also like to point out that no one mentioned they called for tech help?? there are easy tricks to make them work easier. Just call the rag top dept and ask for help instead of airing your shit on here.

BTW Street Beat Bought Britax out. We have all there old inventory but there are only 2 or 3 sizes and they are bucks about 800 ea

I've got a 40 X 44 in my truck and I love it. Street Beat has been building CUSTOM sliding ragtops longer than most of the kids on this site have been walking! It takes some "common knowledge" to install and operate one. The thing is, when one of these tops stick or don't operate smoothly, it's usually the installation that can be blamed. The guys at Street Beat are super helpful. Give them a call and they will help.
