Mine does the same although my lock seems to be ok, I was thinking of cutting the bars out of the top that stop it from going back all the way we will see though gotta get up there an check it out on how it will work withough them...

Mine came in "bowed" in the middle to the inside .. so it was impossible to slide the top all the way back and that was before I even installed it lol .... it was a customer size and the fabric is about 1/4 inch too short so it rolls up at the front when it is closed .... the locking mechanism takes some getting used to but after 8 years I still have trouble sometimes .... BUT I HAVE TO AGREE I LOVE TO RIDE WITH THE TOP OPEN ... but I wouldnt do it again

do what i did......my lock rounded off and never locked right anyway so i glued a nickel to the inside of the frame so that the lock hook would have something to cinch down on. never once had another problem out of it.

i cant say anything bad about my streetbeat ragtop other than the locking system being designed by retarded monkeys. Never once leaked though!
