i hear ya phil. i seen kids on mainly other sites that bitch about companies then have no idea what they are doing and give companies a bad rep.

gotta love that post about the Kota with the bushing on the pan hard mounted the wrong direction. i hear you get more lift that way. lol

That's EXACTLY what's wrong with this scene!

I've seen SO many shops come and go that had no business touching people's cars and trucks! They'd come in here, asking us to put their business cards on our counter and refer people their way... yeah, I'm going to put MY name on their work!! Fortunately they tend to disappear within a couple months, and I can throw their cards at Dan!

the trucking "scene" cant be losing popularity. becouse its world wide
the australian scene is growing really quickly and most of the inspiration comes from the american trucks.
also you were all young once give the younger kids some of your time and knowledge and they might surprise you.

Phil owns and i really am going to buy that core support soon. but on to the topic at hand.
im in rural nc and all i see is lifted trucks around here(unless i go to a club meeting) its not popular around here and you just get joked on hard so i think its weeded any punk kids out of our scene(well except for me) but in going to shows i have deffinitly seen how it seems like every thing is just turning into a party. i had to drive twelve hours to blood drag just to go to a show where i know the rides were built by people who knew what they were doing. i hope that in the future thats how all the shows will end up. and ill also be the first to admit i jumped into this and hacked my truck and now im paying for it but thanks to the intellegent peeps on here i now know what the hell im doing.

heres the message yeah popularity is bringing in the wrong crowd but let them get their ass reemed acouple times on streetsource and that will fix thier prob and if it doesnt they will crash and die and all that will be left is the guys who ae doing it cuz they really just enjoy it

I am in no way hating on the peeps that buy product from us or any other shop to build their rides. I am saying that we didn't have the option back in the caveman days! As for the Reso insident, it's sadly expected now from certain people. The horrible thing is, there are some really cool guys that represent the same club and I'll always be down for them. It's just sad that a few bad eggs can ruin the name of a club that is so dope. We had an "issue" of the same sorts and eliminated that bad egg by kicking them out of our club.

I have only been building trucks a year and I have no clue how "it used to be" but i am here now and enjoy most the same things u do. I respect people who have made sweet trucks before...yes.....but for our area to continue don't we have to have new people....It should be up to the "old" guys to show us "new" guys a thing or two. I love that people identify with trucks and creativity....don't like that some people act like shitheads.
