i went to NADC and i had a good time, its kinda rough went you start out cause theres also alot of BS that goes along with the school, but as long as u pay attention and apply yourself and dont miss alot of days you will have alot of oppertunities*. right now i'm workn 2 jobs doing what i love..building minitrucks from 8-5 then from 5-11 i work at a place called classis metal works doing restorations and building hot rods. it was like 24gs when i went and i think i've got my money out of it. just dont let the school dick you around.

i agree with most guys on here, I went to Nadc. was it worth it, kinda, the tools are shitty, the enviroment is shitty, but friends are great, some of the teachers are awesome and you will learn if you want to. the high performance fabrication is really whats worth goin there

my advice from expeience.....stay away from lincoln tech unless you want to do nights 12-5, the classes are usually up around thirty people and on top of that ud be better off getting a set of ase study books (pricy but a lot better than 20 grand) and maybe talk to a dropout and see if he still wants his text book. the training does help when you go to get a job, but i found a place that wanted to bring in a grunt so i did prevenitive maintance, swept, and oil changes and after a month started doing axles, brakes and ac jobs and slowly working my way to drivability. if you do go to a technical school get a job u can actually do the stuff, get hands on, and get book smarts and car smarts. know the difference between a mechanis and a technician.

My son went to UTI in houston,He got a lot out of it.He now has a good job at a body shop here in town. But dont think you will come out of school and get a 50k yr job you will have to start a the bottom and work your way up.He has said some of the things you learned in there you will have to relearn in the real job.

Everything you learn at tech school you have to re learn again the correct way at a real shop so whats the point? You get paid the same and work your way up either way so you are just wasting money. It doesnt matter how hard you try, if you arent getting taught the correct way of doing things like you have to do them in a real shop you still wont know shit. I learned more in one week at a real shop than I did the entire 2 years I went to tech school. I havent even taken my 4 diplomas out of the envelope they came in the mail in. Waste..

fuck it..be a doctor if your wanting the big salaries..if not take a tech school and learn whatever little bit you can and don't bitch about how shitty it is,the little piece of paper at the end can and will take you a long way instead of not having no pieace of paper..period

I went to Lincoln tech and it sucked, I mean i graduated in the top gun program but i had to put up w/ alot of bullshit. All tech schools are pretty much the same you get out of them what you put in. I know someone else who went to wyotech and he turned out alright
and i know a couple guys who went to uti and are doing pretty good. Just remember that if your not going to put up with a bunch of shit then your wasting your money.
