wyotech sucks!!!!!!!! you waste soo much time on bullshit.... like 80 kids and 4 paint booths? how can you learn like that?? clearing in a media booth isnt the smartest idea for dirt... seriosuly i wish i never went since i leanred a hole lot more on the job experience than skool. they teach the "wyotech way" not real world what your going to do.. all its good for is a piece of paper saying i did something... friends went to streetrod and chasy fab and say it was cool but you dont take that till your 9 month min.. is done and price goes up every 3 months

i know this dude i done went to a tech school around here and didnt get shit. so its better than staying here, and plus a shop wont let you just come in you have to have some kind of traning . i done tryed going to a rod shop and getting in . IT DOESNT WORK !!!! I know alot of rod builders. one of them is my really good friend . T&T customs -Ted Thomas. you have to have some kinda background in tha tha shit 1st....

one of my friends from back in high school went to a certain tech school in tennessee and came back w/ alot of "knowledge". they taught him alot of things that were either half assed or just completely wrong. ive had several people tell me they wished they would have just gotten into the business and learned how things work in the real world instead of paying alot of $$ to learn how something works in the classroom.

my bro and a few of my boys went to nashville auto diesel college, both the body classes and the mechanic classes and all liked it and learned quite a bit.

I think school in general is what you put into it. I'm goign to Wyotech in PA in Oct. People may say its not worth it, but i can't just go to a shop or anyhting and learn stuff, there aren't any here, and i have no experience in body work and painting, so this is the only shot ive really got to work on cars for a living one day

hey whats up everybody i currently attend a teck college near were i live, its no big name school but i started off took welding and graduated and then decide i wanted to take autobody, both of those are 2 year courses 5 days a week from at least 8a.m. to 2p.m. i am just finishing up my last weeks in autobody but i definitly agree that school(s) like this are what you make of it, i had buddies that said dont go to school for bodyshop just go get a job, and yeah i might have been able to but i doubt it. I didnt know much about body work when i started so i figured that was the best way to learn.
