what got you into minis

i was a ricer till i almost died like 5 times in one week then some asshole kid in my school had a bagged yellow single cab toyota and he talked shit to me every day about how i wasnt ever gonna have a truck as good as his. and the next day i was working at a grocery store and picked up a minitruckin mag with devins mazda on it and i studied that entire mag on my lunch breaks. now ive got a bagged truck and the other kid sold his plus he never got any trophys (albeit i dont have many but i do have some) and now im really stuck cuz im in a club with some of the greatest guys around. i cant ever leave i went to go help my boy steve clean out his garage and left with a head light conversion and a shit load of parts im hooked now

I know the date July 4, not sure on the year 94-95ish. Anyways after watching fireworks with my parents we went to the gas station and at the pump next to us this thing rolled up 92 isuzu named "my wettest dream" It belonged to Jake Moomey (BIGJAKE on ssm) it was the sweetest thing I had ever seen....way ahead of its time. My homie in highschool had a dime that was layin frame on 18's back when that was the Shit! Once I saw that I went out a few years later and bought my S-10, and since then never I've never looked back!

ever since i was little i liked lowriders and hot rods.but by the time i was 11 or 12 i started reading minitruckin mags, plus my cusin had a first gen. 2dr. blazer static dropped with 15"s. i used to love ridin around with him. Ever since then i knew i was hooked. now im 18, and the only 2 vehicles ive owned are minis!

well my dad has been in cars and had me around old cars all the time and then for somereason when i was little i always loved lowriders and never new anyone that had one or anything but when we would go to car shows i would just love to check out lowriders and when i was 12 i new i wants a 93 blazer 4dr and i wanted it lowered so soo as i got it i got it lowered and then keep adding to it i got it when i was 16 didnt have much money then but i had it lowered and i still keep adding to it i just love cars sitting low

my neighbor built a 96 camaro followed by a 92 fullsize both slammed got me hooked for life and then i saw a yellow s10 bagged and body dropped on the cover of mini truckin and it got me stuck on s series trucks nothing cleaner looking in my eyes well all that and the awsome partys i mean come on someone had to say it

my bf had a bagged taco on 18's with custom tribil window tint... now i got a stock floor taco

i always remimberd hangin out in the backlot in my small town. and would always see dustin haven in his suicidal toy and ed boley in his bad ass body droped cutlass, and other random custom trucks and those customs cought my eye and made me want to build my own.

I am very new with the mini truckin scene, I had a slammed 89 toy in 90 but that is far as I went now I am just married and my step son that is 17 has a lowered 83 isuzu truck, so I found my 90 x-cab mazda that I lowered to the stops in frong and 3 inch blocks in the rear, I am looking at a 97 s-10 that is bagged and shaved for 1G...

i was in my senior year of highschool. everyone had imports or big ass lifted trucks cuz of the snow. i saw the extreme the first year it came out. i went out bought a truck and a truckn mag, and its been on ever since. WOULDNT TRADE IT FOR THE WORLD!
