as far as advice...part it out as much as you can sell, take the rest to the metal recylers.
which would be the passenger headlight, rear door, and tailgate handle.

What is the price tag on buying it...
i think hes gonna try parting it because he owes on the loan still, the only reason he is keeping it is because if he lets them repo it because its totalled then he has to pay it off still and give up the truck, but if he parts it out or gives it to a recycler then he may be able to get something out of it, im pretty sure that the insurance that the dealer provided expired before he got his. crazy as hell, he hit a telephone pole and an apartment complex, he dont want much for it, he said 4k takes the whole thing, but i assume he could get a descent amount for the motor and interior. shit like that, the glass is good, couple of doors, fender, hedlights, we will see.

well that and a few things id imagine the interior should be all intact so the whole interior, motor, transmission, etc.

again, how did he slip by not having insurance on a truck with a lean?
i dont know about other states but here in VA you can pay an uninsured motorist fee and you dont have to have insurance. not real sure how it works though
