You rarely use to see black trucks on covers much. until, Brian McCormick shot Buck Bland's Chevy. That still to this day is one of the coolest covers shot EVER i think! Black trucks shot in low light look soo bitchin!!

Hey Mitch. I am really surprised that someone remembers Buck's truck on the cover. That was a "revelation" shoot for me. I think that was the first time I ever shot a truck with long exposures. It was really accidental to be honest. But a good accident..lol.I still have a digitized version of that shoot somewhere at home. I'll see if I can dig it up this evening.I believe there was a black truck on the cover before that though. I shot a black S-10 Blazer with purple scallops that Boyd Coddington (I think) had built. We shot it with the white chop top C/K that had magenta scallops on it as well. I'm thinking that was about 93-94. BMC
