I remember that one, one of my fav's. One of the sickest C-10's. I still have that issue somewhere...

Yah Jon, that still is one of my favorites. Here's a pic of it.About the water shots, that is a place we have rented over the years. It's an emergency training facility. The "pad" is a little bit larger than a football field and is near perfectly flat. When flooded, it is no deeper than about 1/2 an inch. I love that place. Makes me look like I know what I am doing..lol. BMC

I absolutely love that photo!!! I have a question though how come it seems like you prefer the windows down when you shoot, i always was curious about that??? And i love the water pad, i'd love to shoot something there and it seems like the black trucks always look so sick out there!!!

Hey Mike. You know, I've had a couple of guys ask me that and I think a lot of times it's one of those "it depends" kind of situations. I always ask the owner if his side windows are tinted or not. My preference is that trucks with tinted rear windows and clear side windows, just kind of look funny to me if they are up. And I like to see the interior in some of the shots too. The black dually being a good example. Sometimes it doesn't matter if they are tinted or not, when they are up, sometimes they have all kinds of goofy reflections in them. Then finally, which I am sure you might have noticed yourself, when doing the long exposure stuff and at the right angle to paint the side of the truck, the side windows will often "blow out" or get really harsh. Like I said though, it really just depends on the light, the truck, the windows, the angle I am shooting at, and most of all, if I even remember think about whether or not they are up in the first place..LOL.
