Hey Brian, easily two of my favorite photos. That black F150 is an old feature and I still consider that one of the cleanest truck photos.
To answer the question: Black vehicles are fun to shoot when the lighting and conditions are right. Yet most people attempting to build custom vehicles have a tendency to not just paint them black. In most cases they add graphics or another color since black really is not quite the eye kandy as other colors. But that is just one photographer's two cents.

I guess I am a bit partial, that 150 has been a fav of mine for years. You have to admit that black rides are fairly few and far between.

no not really ive seen plenty of black rides in mags and at shows. Just buy more subscriptions to mags you willsee them.

i just think there arent that many black custom rides. cause everything shows up in black paint, bodywork has to be perfect, swirl marks show up not too long after you get it painted, and all the little dust and shit in the air gets on it 3 seconds after you wipe it off.
