Your the R/O, He's the L/O. What's the reason he is repossessing the car? No insurance? Never heard of that. You got insurance, he still won't give it up?

I presume there is some type of contract spelling out the terms and payment schedule? What is the his reason for braking the contract. They usually need a reason to get out of a signed contract.

Did you read all the fine print? Doed it say he can repo the car if the buyer doesn't supply the required insurance, and does it define somewhere what the proper amount of insurance would be.

In California, your only required by law to carry liability. What does the contract say?

A slaesman said you could get by with less coverage/ amazingly the owner found out you didn't have full coverage/ probably more money in turning your car again, than collecting from you.....see any small cowinkydinks (lol) here???

I'm sorry, but I bet this has happened to other customers of that lot. Those places are set up to be crooked from day one.

I feel for people who can't get a car otherwise, because I think those kind of lots should be ran out of business.

My condolences for your probable loss. See if you can at least return the car to stock, so you don't lose all of your parts as well, maybe the crooked bastard will work something out.

i hate to say it, but he was in full right to take your car (which is legally his, due to the lean on the title)

you broke the contract that you signed saying you will carry full coverage and you werent. you broke the contract, you are at fault.
