did you sign any papers saying you would keep full coverage on it?

Buy here Pay here lots are often like that. They will finance people who couldn't otherwise get the car, but obviously at a higher finance rate and not very leniently.

He is in it to make maoney, could give two squirts about you. Your fixing the car up, just makes it more attractive for resale if/when he finds enough reason to repo it.

Sounds like this insurance thing is his reason. He wants the car, more money to be made by turning it again, than from collecting from you.

just go to him and ask him what the fuck is up..since you got the correct insurance and all,tell him you will double up on your payments,but you really need this car,since its your whole familys transportation and try and give me a break and that might work and say if you take the car you won't get shit out of me since this is my to-get-to work car/make my money car and if you take it i will not have a way to get you your money...and don't be a dick or nothing be nice as possible..and that might work

try and say you got a kid on the way,lol,and you got hospital bills etc.make the story thick as hell.

OK, you need to make sure he can't sell the car before you go to court. You'll definately need a lawyer. He may take it on the 11th day to an auction and you'll never get the chance again.

the thing is i have a shitty as drivin record in excess of 7 pages so when I first got the car I could not get full coverage and the sales man told me it was ok as long as I had some kind of coverage. So the owner never knew about that of course and since i signed a paper sayin i would cary full coverage insurance it kind of fucked me but the othere guy could get fiered over it so i dont know how they found out.

i have 2 keys but they hauled the car off before I got there.... so its not there anymore and they obviously wont tell me where it is
