yeah, thats what we did on my buddies 4cyl noma... got an old york r12 compressor (might accually be a borg warner) outta an old ford and did a bracket. pumps air like a mofo! was a damn headache for a month or so till got all the little bugs worked out, like where we needed to gusset and all.. after acouple times of cracking the bracket ended up puttin a rod from bottom of compressor down to the engine to stiffen it up, now it works flawlessly

yeah... i wish i kept my ac at times... but in utah it only gets like 100 and its not that humid. so i should be okay. if its that bad ill fab up a bracket. and have an edc and ac.. but anyone reading this do this shit if you dont mind not having ac! man i love it. only two words of advise i have. use goood green lucas high temp high pressure greese and make sure you add greese every now and then. . . and get a stainless line off of the compressro ... at least the first foot or two for your tank charge line. . if not... just dont run the compressor hard for more than a couple min at a time. . or youll blow the plastic line... imma heavy diesel mechanic and we run brown plastic line for fuel.. its the same as plastic line jus a bit higher temp capible. so thats what im runnin for the first foot.... and i have to run the comperssor harrrrd before i melt and pop it. like twice as long as regular air line.... stainless braided line soooon for me though
