ok so its been bothering me for awhile that you really couldnt see my brake bulbs in my clear tails. either its a painted bulb that burns off or its one of those led bulbs that look like a small dot that i feel was unsafe. so i came up with an alternative that i thinks pretty cool. heres what ive done so far. i know im gonna add onto them and change them up some.
started out with a regular clear tailight

heres the l.e.d trailer tailight i bought at autozone

and it has a side light in it too

That turned out good!!

I wonder how it would look if you painted the black housing silver to blend in with the stock housing? Hmmm I think it would look good.

Nice work!

those are cool mikey....funny thing is I was looking/thinking of doing the EXACT same thing! We have a joint here called the auto safety house that has those lights a bit cheaper....maybe $15 or so...I am planning on taking a look tomorrow if I get to swing by there.....or if I have the day off. Either way I wanna go LED thruout the whole truck...and I have a few plans for interior also...just time and money
