A guy on s10 forum did that and said it didnt work. . I guess it pushed the grease fitting out. . Now he is runnin one of those lil brass filters. . Cuz you dont want pressure in the crankcase. . optimally. .

i just came across one that is allready to mount up and all that. but im not thinking about doing the grease. how offten do you have to take it apart and put grease back in them?

I put the zerk in the fill plug with no problems. I just slowly pump the greese in. My son has put 1000 miles on the truck since we put it on and hes 16 so a bit switch happy. We still have had no problems in fact i needed air this weekend and there is a air hose hookup on the tank and i ran it for 5 min solid with no problems at all... it did get hot but i could still touch it. I didnt take it apart to grease it i took it apart to plug a hole that goes from the case to the pressure side so it wouldnt spit the grease into the air line. I first put 50 pumps from the gun into it then added 20 more after the pump ran the first few times and that was 1000 miles ago. I picked up a spare just incase we have problems but so far so good. There were a few guy on here that saw the setup its real simple and the way to go!!!!!

We used the 508 the truck has about 2500 miles now and the comp is starting to get weak. not sure if its the clutch or the pump, i know we get allot more grease in the filter now. I have another im gonna clean up and put it then take the other apart to see if the rings wore out (i never put a filter on the intake) or got hot. Im gonna check the clutch first because it got left on a few time without the motor running and got real hot so it may be toast.
