If you use a 1/2" drill be carefull you might just end up in the hospital. like my old friend did. When those notchers are new they work great but You will have to change the bushing out every so often. They wear quickly..

both of the ones I had came with a bronze bushing and it does wear quickly. oiling the bushing as you cut a notch helps alot.

the one in the pic above is ok, but the pipe clamp is flimsy and will bend over time. its much better to get the speedy notcher or I have also seen one with a thick aluminum pipe clamp thats about 160 bucks.

I love the one i have now tho. you could get by with the one above but alot of use would not be good.

All the pipemasters are the same. They just vary in size depending on what size tubing your using. The pipemaster has a bunch of little pins that slide through the sleeve. The pins are split up in quarter sections. Basicly, every quarter section has a pin missing so you know where to mark the tubing based on how you push the pipemaster on the tubing. You take that position, and transfer the outside contour on the pipemaster to the tubing to be cut.
