Damn Daniel, I'm really sorry to hear all of this is happening and all.. so it is all over one customer claiming to not recieve parts? Is there ANY possible way hell.. maybe someone on SSM is in the same town and can see if this guys blazer now has Lambo doors? Or like you said.. keep your eyes open at shows. This really is bullshit for you to have to deal with this, if the shipping company provided you with the tracking info and all, arent they responsible for the package from there on out (other than if the parts IN the package are wrong, etc)? I'm quite new to this but it seems like the shipping company should be held responsible or something. Seems like you've been dealing with it for some time now, this scares me when using PayPal.. I wish the best for you and hope you can find some way to settle this where you don't end up losing. Has anyone ever gotten lawyers involved and won a case like this vs. ebay/paypal?

Or how about someone sending you a paypal reciept with some numbers changed on it claiming they paid for one of your products? Then, after being on terminal hold with paypal, and never talking to someone, you have to make a choice... do I go ahead and send it, or do I be an ass, and call them a liar? Paypal's troubleshooting emails never get correct answers back, and they must have one person working the phones. I got burned on the deal 'cause I wanted to make the "customer" happy. But this is a scam that people need to be warned about! My point being that I never got ANY support for my business through Paypal. It's the "what can we do?" senario.

I use paypal very often, I have never had a problem with them. They have helped me to get my money back on two items that were scams. I understand what you are saying about sucking because your account is on hold...but I can assure you that if someone scammed you, you would appareciate the help that Paypal offers. I think like someone stated in here somewhere you need to do some investigating.

I have never had any problems with paypal. Before I started selling I did by some bags off ebay from aguy in Florida and never received them. He did this to a bunch of people and told us that the stuff was stolen from his shop. We all got together and filed charges and sued him. My paypal account was locked up until we got it resolved. But we did finally get our money.

the trick is with shipping you just have to require signature confirmation of delivery. so the person has to sign off on their box to get it. that way you can use that as refrence for paypal.

As much as it sucks, yours is not a unique experience.

everyone should visit and read stories at Paypalsucks.com

best thing to do when dealing with paypal is NEVER leave any money in your paypal account, as soon as you get it transfer it to your bank account. As a buyer ALWAYS use a credit card through paypal. that way if you get scammed and the person you sent money too has nothing in their paypal account you can reverse the charges on your card and at least you wont be left holding the bag. the only way paypal can help you recover any of your money is if the scammer leaves it in his account, other wise they just say sorry, your right you were scammed but theres nothing we can do to recover it...trust me I speak from experience, been using paypal for many years and had hundreds of transactions through them. its not a matter of if you will eventually have a problem or not, it just a matter of when.

It is a scam. What they do is people order through paypal usig their credit card. Then they call the credit card company adn say that the card got stolen and that charge isn't theirs. So the credit card gets the money back from paypal and paypal takes it from your account. The problem with having them sign before they recieve the package. IF the name signed doesn't match the name you sent it too, they through that out so it doesn't help any. So if you do use paypal make sure they aren't using a credit card to pay with that is the only way you can protect yourself. This happened to a friend of mine a few times before he finally got it figured all out.

Hey Jeremy,

"So if you do use paypal make sure they aren't using a credit card to pay with that is the only way you can protect yourself. This happened to a friend of mine a few times before he finally got it figured all out.
"

How do you go about checking whether they pay with Credit Card or other means? This is scary.. so I wanna learn all I can.

I searched through the paypal site and I don't think you can specify not to recieve a payment with a credit card. I think that is why my friend quit using paypal. You might ask paypal. Sorry I am not much more help.

i just had a problem with paypal too recently basically i got the package and what was in it wasnt right. this is after i spent 550 dollars on it. so i contact paypal thinking im glad i payed through them now ill be protected. wrong apparently they only cover the fact that i recieve the package not whats in the box. so basically i could have recieved a box full of packing penuts and thats fine with paypal. fuck them your about as covered using them as sending cash in a birthday card for a payment.
