that sux man. If the shipper claims it was shipped to the address, it should be the shippers responsibility.

I had ordered a fiberglass rollpan off ebay and payed w/ paypal. I got it fine and it looked fine, so I started prepping it for paint and blocked it to take out the normal fiberglass waves. So by the time I finally test fit the thing I was pissed when it was apparent that the thing was warped too badly to ever make fit. Paypal finally did come thru, but it was a pain to go get independent verification of what was wrong with the part and all the bullshit paypal wanted to prove my case AND I had to pay to ship the thing back to the seller too. The shitty part to me was I tried to just deal w/ the seller first, but he was on vacation and didn't respond till after I filed thru paypal, so then he was pissed and wouldn't even consider that his part was defective. Oh well, guess my point was just that the system might work occasionally...

That site that was posted www.paypalsucks.com has alot of information on similiar situations if anyone wants more info. Paypal is all about the buyer which is not a bad thing at all but when you do 10k-20k in business with them a month I think they should consider that also. I HAVE NEVER SCREWED anyone nor do I plan to start.

You're doing 10-20k in business a month and you're still using paypal? You should seriously look into a real merchant account if you're going to do that kind of business. I use paypal as a secondary source, and I never leave cash in there for more than a day or so if possible. if you're moving 10k worth of parts per month, and $1300 is enough to get you to shut down, you need to step back and look at your operations in general..

I do have a merchant account but accepted paypal as a convience to the customer. And no $1300 is not what shut me down. I am not down? After taking substansial loses on 2 different occasions I have decided to call it quits. If you will look at my site you will see that I advertise the lowest prices on the net. I dont make alot of money, but what I do make I would like to use to help support my family.

Well guys, its been fun. As I said I will post my contact info below. I had a few offers on the site but nothing ever came through to my liking. I dont want to just give the site to someone who will use it to scam or ruin the name in which I have built for the site. I spoke with a few people who owned online stores like CustomParts but nothing really came through so I will take the site offline sometime this weekend. I want to thank everyone who has ordered from us. I have really enjoyed doing business with each of you. If you have ordered parts from us and you need to contact us for warranty issues or replacement parts feel free to contact me. I will continue to sell parts but not online. If there is something you need just holla. I am sure I will see you all around this coming show season. Who knows, I might even open another store or site sometime.
