Blue Collar Minitruckin

i read most of this thread and there is one thing i didn't see.
you can make good money and be blue collar. someone said under $15 an hour, that dosn't make you blue collar.if you get dirty, use tools, don't wear a suit,don't have a desk,wear a uniform.. etc etc, your blue collar.
i'm a machinist, dosn't get much more blue collar then that, i make alot more the $15 an hour.

^^^ amen dude, most union peeps make WAY more than my desk job pays. Gotta learn a skill to make it one way or another though.

i built this while working at coffee shop make 7.85 an hour. it took me forever to get it the way it is. and trust me, i only make 7.15 at a gas station and its getting totally redone right now!

P.S. mad prop to all who make bad rides working at crap jobs! especially ernie with his mitsu, thats a big accomplishment!



and this is my girlfriends and she built this and she makes 6.75 at red robin as an expo!

Hey, I live on my own, have a truck payment for my daily, pay the house bills, credit cards and all that jazz. I just had to cut back on the extra BS. You'd be surprised what happens when you cut out going to the bars and eating out...Cha Ching money back in the bank and you can finish your truck...Now don't get me wrong I think primered rides are bad ass. I see a bunch of them and see how crazy some of the mods are I wish I had the patience to make it work on mine....Everybody who is in the sport living at home, on their own, building buying is all in it to lay low and have fun...I think anyone willing to build a minitruck is kick ass in my book...

Dudes you dont fuckin know what Blue Coller is ok I fuckin worked as a bagger/stocker, cashier,Ice cream scooper, and on to fiberglassing/sanding surfboards... OK I cant even afford to get the front of my truck bagged..Take a look this is Bule Coller shit in So Cal...

I'm below the 15.00 marker as well. I have my own house, taco payment, daily payment, and tons of other bills along with an expensive wife. lol. I bought my taco in Feb. stock and hope to have its first life done by spring. Yeah its in primer but I love it.
