The 22r in my 82 daily runs great, but I suspect its pretty thirsty.
Its completely stock, by that I mean it has all the excess emissions crap on it.
What are some tips to help with fuel consumption? Carb swap etc? I do plan to bin all the excess emissions stuff as we can get away with not having it set up over here, which I know will aid to it not sucking as much gas (I have done this on RDGR8A)
Any other tips?
Thanks
Well...as you stated a bigger carb, how about a header/exhaust & maybe even go with a street performance cam too. Im sure MSD also makes some ignition stuff & that will help with all the extra bolt ons. Call me crazy, but change out all the fluids-oil, tranny & rear axle with Royal Purple synthetic lubricants!! Ive been using Royal Purple in all my cars/trucks for awhile now & it helps.
