kelly- did you just take the motor mounts off the engine and chop em down 1.5" ? Anything else involved?

Anything else involved? try and cut the mount that holds the motor mount in half while the engine is still attached. section it out and then slide the engine down centered with an engine hoist of course and weld them back and gusset them. this will keep everything lined up centered and straight. easiest way to do it.

YES DUSTY THATS ALL I DONE,BESIDES SECTIONING THE OIL PAN.PROBABLY WOULDNT HAVE HAD TO SECTION THE PAN THO.

i got an 88 frame today.this will allow me to use the front clip so ill have manual steering and not have the stock steering rack under the engine.should be able to get it down enuf for a stock hood now.
