Trucking companies need to go on strike until fuel prices go down. They did it in the seventies and it worked. Now all they do is pass the "fuel surcharge" on to us. So we end up getting screwed on gas and everything we buy or have shipped. It is only speculation driving prices up. How can gas companies live with themselves screwin our own people? The gas, stations already had in their tanks didn't cost that much to buy, but they charge us whatever they feel like. We all need to do our part and stop driving for anything but work. If we stop buying it they won't make money. My family has scrapped all vacations for now

Ok I just read this whole thing and I don't know what to think. But I will suppport my president...everyone should support the leader of their country...like him or not. I am just glad that I can live in a free country where I don't have to worry about being killed for the food I eat or what I wear. I just say keep the immigrants out of the country so we don't have to pay their tax dollars and take keep a control on welfare. God Bless the USA! It's sad when you have people in your country that doesn't support their own country. SEE YA AT THE POLES!

if you can even get gas here your lookin at at least 2.99,an dmy car uses at least 89 for any decent mpg so thats another .10-.15 cents, by tomorrow itll prolly be over 3 if they get any shipments tonight. last night there was either a 40 minute wait or no gas at all at most of the station in central florida, not even just orlando. i filled up right before the hike for like $2.72. glad i got too. thakn god im not driving my truck around that thing eats gas like nothing.

That's the freedom U.S. has, freedom of opinion. I served our great country 4 years in the Marines, was overseas in the big sand pit. I supported the country 110% and still do, but this crisis is putting a bad taste in my mouth!!! After Bush was more worried about his VACATION rather then giving support to his own country (his support would be 'pumping up people's hopes') and sending in help ASAP, but nope, he couldn't even read his que cards correctly and as soon as he was done, he practically RAN TO HIS PLANE!!!! WTF??? Ya we're sending in 'some' national reserves to help, but we have the largest and strongest military in the world and we're NOT EVEN USING A FRACTION of them to help our own damn country!!! Now that's messed up!!! But god forbid that gulf oil is more important because we have not found an alternative to gasoline engines!!! Once we find the alternative non-combustabile engine, U.S. won't set foot in the middle east again!!! If you think not, then only thing left over there is good sand for mixing cement!!!!

years ago there were people running with a so called 200mpg carburator and I've heard of people getting like 70 mpg on a carburated car/truck. But the vehical makers and oil companies buy all the pattents and shut those people up. I've been working on trying to figure out how they do it. Basically they heat the gasoline to a certain temperature where it vaproizes and shoot that into the carburator. Already vaporized gas takes up more space than gasoline as a liquid so it burns fuel WAYY!! more efficentally. If you know how it works let me know.
