I was thinking about this last night driving home. In 2000 the average gas price around here was $1.25 a gallon. Today it is $3.09 for 87 Octane. Since Bush has taken office gas price has more than doubled. He also just happens to be from Texas and knows a lot of people in the oil business, including his father. Kinda makes ya a little mad don't it?

Oh I believe that!!! Oil is BBIIIGGG MONEY!!! You find ways NOT to use the transportation BLOOD, or to minimize using it, then hell ya the WORLD MONOPOLY will shut your ass down or shut you up!!! Hybrids are really the only thing the govmnt is allowing. Toyota Prius getting 55mpg. That's awesome, but yet still a JOKE!!! Splitting atoms from water makes a hydrogen bomb so of course the government won't let everyone be driving those around. It's a monopoly and any good invention will be turned down for some reason!!!!

years ago there were people running with a so called 200mpg carburator and I've heard of people getting like 70 mpg on a carburated car/truck. But the vehical makers and oil companies buy all the pattents and shut those people up. I've been working on trying to figure out how they do it. Basically they heat the gasoline to a certain temperature where it vaproizes and shoot that into the carburator. Already vaporized gas takes up more space than gasoline as a liquid so it burns fuel WAYY!! more efficentally. If you know how it works let me know.

It would take alot of engineering and money,to much trouble

I disagree!!! Manufactures would sell thos vehicles like MAD if they had 70-100+mpg vehicles!!!! It WOULD be worth all the effort!!! Now it would NOT be worth the effort for the OIL industry to come up with those carberators!!!!

Nic..You are right we all have our opinions. Maybe you don't agree with what is going on. I didn't say that I do. But I am saying that I will support my country and my leader in whatever decisions he makes. Weather I like it or not. Not trying to go all religious on you all but sit down and read Revelations, you will be so freaked out because it sounds like what we are living in today.
