yeah mine was an 81. I had a friend and his was an 82 with a 2.3. I dont know why but thats what they did.

nuthin really just needs a fuel pump to make it run again and im sure a little tune up (its been sittin for a few months) also it needs a passenger fender and a grille and hood other than that its just a stockfloor b/d away from bein bad ass

I had an '81 Ford Courier and it had the 2.3L engine. I had a cam and a header for mine. From what I remember, I wished I had the 2.0L cuz they make way more performance stuff for the 2.0L. I remember an article in minitruckin from prolly 1991-1994? that was showin how to build 200+HP 2.0L's...

i can get one right downt he road from me with no rust, and only 90K original miles for like 800

200HP 2L >??? tell me more!!! !Im looking at a turbo'd 2L at the mo, But if I can pull 200HP Naturally aspirated.. well damn!!
