You could build that off a stock head for less money. Probably about $500. I priced it out. I paid $250 to have my head machined for larger stainless valves, and the valves were $60 for the set. My cam was $100 with shipping. If I got racign cprings, they're $80 for a set.
If you go through LC, you're getting raped. If you do some research, you can get the same thing with a little footwork for 1/3 of the price.
I know that seth!! I am doing the work. I just need a CORE head, so the truck can remain drivable until the head is swapped- thats why i need just a shitty head from an 84...
But it HAS to be the 84 (cupped valves) ...
