i got pulled over today for the dumbest shit ever let me tell you. a statey pulled me over today becasue i shaved my taillights n put LEDs n my rollpan no big deal seen then around alot but i got a ticket for no tailight in the "factory position". The lady told me i had to go get a collison report and she told me it prolly wouldnt pass and that i need to fix it i was like um i hafta get a new bed everything is welded in . So tell me what should i do new bed or say fuck it?

we don't have any law shit like that around here, but if i was you, i'd take the ticket to court, along with pics of cadillac cars with factory LED taillights and shit, and pics at night to show how bright they are

TRUE i kinda dnt wannna make n issue but ya i prolly will take photos n n shit they will b like they sell stuff that are not legal so iono wat to do

yeah state troopers r cock suckers anyway,i had a mazda,that had clears(back in the day)with L.E.D.'s for the bulbs and they wrote a ticket for that,i'd fought it and won lol

Those are DOT approved...i dont think LEDs are...they arent reflective. get some magnetic trailer lights mount them to the top of the bed and go get your ticket signed off then take the trailer lights off.

Are they not DOT approved? They should have a stamp on them if they are. I know around here my boyfriend got pulled over for that in his old truck and we fought it and proved that they are visible from 500 feet away and they couldn't say shit about it.
