I think Mini Truckin or Truckin ran a tech article on that very thing about 5 years ago. I will look for the article.

Suicide is one of my next moves and also would prefer to do it the ole school way with stock hinges...but I may end up with the kit...anyway I don't know the issue but back in the day MT did a tech article on Comminting Suicide...I belive it was stock hinge....also you can see a Mazda with stock hinge in July 94 MT

Truckin ran an article about 5 years ago using stock hinges on a 67-72 chevy. Very nice tech article, and looks fairly straight forward.

okay man imagine instead of getting the kit, the way they use to be done in the day...usually peeps would get another set of doors to work with...but they will cut the jams off and the the front and rear sections of the doors and then revers the side as well as front to back if your following me then reweld the cut sectons into there new locations making the Suicide doors have a factory appearance...there is more to it but that's the idea in a nut shell...only stock parts are used no kits.
