How'd you secure it? Set Screw or an epoxy or something? Thats a good idea. I might work on that sometime soon.

We didnt the hole was drilled to a few thousands of the size of the dipstick assy...I dont see why you cant use some epoxy.Mines on there tight.

I doubt I have the right size drill bit, so I'll probably just epoxy it when I get around to making one.

I actually used a #24 drill bit (may have been a 23, whichever was smaller). They only took a few minutes to whittle out, but I did already have a few form tools ground. But for any that don't fit, I would use loctite leave sealant. That shit will fill up a .007in gap, and won't let go.

What did you make the little knob with? Lathe?

yeah, I did that at school. Hopefully next quarter, I can come up with some cool CNC projects to make. Hell, we actually cut a motorcycle wheel earlier this Q. It was from a 21" blank and a former student designed it on Autocad maybe, and we cut it for him.

unfortunately, I can't take any credit for making this. Pretty much all I did was bolt it to the table and pressed the green button.
