HELP ! putting a 01 cap on my 97 tacoma

ok, my truck was hit by some crackhead without insurance. So i figure while its in the body shop ill take advantage of the situation and put the new cap on. I need some " in progress " photos or some tips and ideas from you all that have already done this. Also if anyone has any parts i need hit me up!
