Mine just bolted in & it pluged in just like the old one. To make the tach work youll have to run a wire to the coil from the rear of the cluster to make it work & use the oil sending unit from a SR5 truck/4-Runner to get the oil pressure work, but its a simple thing to do. Here is a link to a site that shows you hpw to do it!

well i ended up buyin a cluster from a 93 fourrunner and ithat link wont work cuz mine is a 93 and thats for an older truck but if someone could help me by lettin me know where to install the signal wire on athe cluser please

Should be the green wire on your coil that is for the tach reading

i know my mate's supra with a 7m get the signal via the ECU.
You most likely will have the same problem i'm having getting it accurate as you have gone from a 4 cyclinder to a 6. mine whips right back to zero and can't keep up. LOL
