eh, it only touches w/ the front up and back down, doubt i'll do too much dragging in this one anyway, pros outweighed the cons for me.

on a separate note, yes, the motor and trans are all powdercoat.

Your truck looks even better in person. I can't wait to see this thing complete!!! It'll almost be a shame to put the bed over your work.

Alrighty then....
So here's my first real update since April this year. Most of the time has been spent waiting around for motor parts to come in or for motor parts to come back from powdercoat. anyways, here's what I did:
LC Engineering bored and stroked 2.6 liter block, brass freeze plugs, Clevite bearings, LCE modified rods, custom pistons, lite weight stroker crankshaft, lite weight billet steel flywheel, Zoom clutch, LCE street performer head and cam shaft, stiffer springs, oversize valves and powdercoated the hell out of everything. Block, bell housing, fore and aft transmission casings, lower plenum, shift tower cap and five random engine brackets powdercoated in candy red. Very deep color in real life, they took three coats. Everything else was done in my favorite semi gloss black powdercoat. All the nuts bolts and washers were either powdercoated black or replaced with stainless or pointy chrome pikes. Exhaust consists of a stainless Magnaflow muffler and high flow cat, custom made ceramic coated heat wrapped connector pipes and a LCE header. Polished up my LCE shifter and my stock distributor. The raised parts on the upper intake plenum and the classic style valve cover were also polished. I also finally got around to replacing my black plastic DOT air lines with 3/8 stainless hardlines. While we were at Freak Show last week I got John Beebe of DropEm Wear? to stripe my valve cover for me, which is now my favorite part of my half a truck. Anyways, thanks for reading the book, here's pics.

Everything is looking sic player!! I hate that I missed the show cause I really wanted to get a good look at your truck. I was wondering where the hell did you get all the spikes that you have on have on the valve cover from or did you make them?? Oh...I finally was able to find me a valve cover like yours. I got lucky & found one at a salvage yard here, now Ive got to get it cleaned up & power coated.
