Suicide Door Project

Well starting my next phase,suiciding the doors,using stock hinges & latches. I've only seen this done on two trucks,so looking forward to doing this mod!!

L stock for getting reference measures

Lay out lines for cut away area of side panels.

Patterns for locateor plates to center end panels once removed from donner doors!

lookin forward to the pics. i've seen some scans of the article on how to do it, but they are kinda hard to make out...

Got two end panels cut away on the donner doors,& started studing what has to be done.

A fair amount of metal filling will need to be done,also removing this plate is a pain as doubled walled

Most of this area has to cut away,tiring to figure out how I will get the door to seal again??
Sure would like to talk with the guy who did this mod this way !!
