One side down & one to go. Then just cycle the suspension for a finale check on clearances @ the braided hose, bleed & test drive
Side by side,from 9.25"to 12.9". And from 1 pad to 4.
Can you say more stopping power!!
looks great man. nice stuff.
I like the pan head (hex?) bolts in the fenders. I really don't like the stock 10mm that I keep breaking..
I am digging the brakes but I have to ask you whats up with the crooked fill reservoir
The fasteners between the hat & rotor are allen heads( the Wilwood kit),& the angle @ the resverior is the same as my stock one ,just looks like more because the unit is double feed & larger .
Both boosters are 90 degrees @ the front & rear, though my stock one has a spacer between the booster & firewall.
Ifyou look @ the GM ones on most hot rods, they sit @ a angale also, shoundn't be any problem in less way low on fuild!
The 2 piece rotors are cool too , but I was actually referring to the allen head bolts that bolt your fenders on under the hood.
I want to get something like this wilwood setup if I can
Yeah, most of the fasteners though out my truck that can be seen are stainless button heads metric & standard. I order them through Smith Fanteners 1-323-5870382
The Wilwood master is cool, but then you have to change fittings from metric to standard. When I change the front calipers to Wilwood I will have to get my braided hose ends changed or get new ones made.
The rear calipers I'm going to use are metric fittings.
yeah, i was wondering the same thing, btw can you post up a better picture of your inner fender well, im trying to think of ideas as to how i can get more clearance but still cover the tire so everything dosnt get too dirty
