ok, so its a bit of a trade off..... now with that in mind i know that if i keep a smaller tank to fill.... a compressor will have to work less but the trade of is how much air is available..... wich is fine. im just looking to air up and drive. what size tank would you guys suggest as for this kind of ideal use? as it looks, i dont think ill be able to keep my spare tire under the truck with what i need to install.
i'm running a 5 gallon 9 port aluminum tank.
ok so if i want to run a basic front up/down, rear up/down, and an all4 up/down set up then all i should really need is a 5gal 4 port correct?
i.e 1 port for the front, 1 port for the rear, and one port to do both ends at the same time and the other would be a spare....
think ur a little off base there. study this.
ah.... right on.. thanks for the diagram!
for what ever its worth, i like the contitech 4-ply bags... been running the same set for 4 years now.
I have had firestone, airlift, and slam bags. Out of the 3 I liked the slams the best.
yea, when i whent to a local fab shop they also mentioned conti's were a very good reliable bag..... he mentioned though that the slam ones seem to get cracks in em after a while.... either or he's run into a bad batch of em or something...... firestones are a good choice as well.
seems i cant go wrong with either type so i guess its all gonna come to cost and where i get most of my parts from.
the cracks were a problem a few years ago they've since remedied. they were only cosmetic issues anyway, but have been fixed.
ah ok. good thing you guys are around to verify or fault the info.
