suicide doors on a mazda

yea i was think about suiciding my doors on my truck but my fenders are completely welded in, so there is no body seems from the cowl or the pillar or the rockers. So my main questions is is it going to be a big bitch to do this since i wont be able to get the fenders of to remove the stock hinges and do the new striker in? or is it not going to be that big of a deal?
