4 runner?

What year did the 4 runner come out? Any 2door options available?
Where can I find stats like wheelbase lengths and such?

They were introduced in the 84-88 bodystyle. Back then they only came in 2 door models. The bodystyle after that (89-95) is when the 4 door got introduced. As for wheelbases and such I would check with yer local Yoter dealer

They made 2 door 4runners in the 89-95 body style also, but they are hard to find.

the 84-88 style 4runner actually went to 89...90 was the first year of the "89-95" style..and yeah the 90-95 2 door runners are scarce

I hear that there were a few 2WD 4Runners in the 89-95 body style? As in, factory 2WD. Saw one on eBay once, but overlooked it as a typo.

Me too. I was wondering what it would look like to take a early 80s yota truck and make it into a bodydropped 4runner.

dude,,,,i had an 84,,,first year 4-runner,,,,power windows power locks,,,,sunroof. thought about doing a layed out bd,,,,but,,,,needed some money and was working crazy hours,,,,,sold it for $1000.00 like a Dumbass.....im still Kicking my ass. had a two wheel drive frame for the conversion and every thing....I SUCK!!!!! for not doing it.
