Lowering the motor?

Has anyone lowered the motor on a 2nd gen. I have a 90 with a 4" bd and iam considering lowering the motor. So really if anyone has done this or has any info just let me know.

I am lowering mine either this weekend or next weekend. My truck is stockfloored and only needs to have the motor dropped about 3/4"
to clear the stock explorer hood. Instead of building new motor mounts, I am gonig to modify or replace the angle piece the bolts between the motor mount and the block. I might try to section it, but I will probably just build a new one out of 1/4" plate. It should be a little easier than building new motor mounts.
